Terry Frost: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints: A collection of rare works from the Estate of Terry Frost

We are thrilled to showcase a rare and previously unseen collection of drawings and works on paper by Terry Frost, spanning from 1945 to 1970, featuring motifs from both his time in Leeds and St Ives. Alongside these remarkable pieces, we are presenting the SS set, a collection of 8 etchings that beautifully intertwine various elements of Terry’s influences.

The relationship between Frost and Stoneman dates back to 1975, nearly half a century ago, when Austin Desmond commissioned the Lorca suite. This marked the beginning of a special partnership, one that has endured beyond their lifetimes. As we unveil these extraordinary works in our new physical space, we also raise a glass of champagne in true Terry style to celebrate this enduring and cherished friendship.
